Repair of HOFFMEISTER special-purpose luminaires featuring LED technology, as well as other HOFFMEISTER LED spotlights, may be available on request.
To ensure watertightness and compliance with the protection rating, recessed floor luminaires are excluded from repair.

Preserving appearance and light quality Your spotlights are repaired in such a way that they blend harmoniously back into the existing lighting system. The focus is not only on electrical functionality, but also on appearance and the appropriate lighting effect. This ensures that the design effect of the original lighting concept is preserved, without individual luminaires standing out due to dissimilar replacement products.

Fault diagnosis, quote and repair

Please remove the faulty light fitting and send it to us in Berlin, including a detailed description of the fault. For shipments from third countries, the sender is solely responsible for customs clearance. All customs charges must be paid by the sender. A corresponding commercial invoice must be enclosed with the goods. – We do not handle German customs clearance:

Fixtures that are held up by German customs due to an incomplete customs declaration will be returned to the sender once the processing period has expired.

Upon receipt of the fixture, we will diagnose the defect and prepare a defect report, including repair options and a cost estimate.

Should a repair not be worthwhile because the faults we have identified are too extensive, we will expressly inform you of this. The fault analysis and the cost estimate are subject to a flat fee. Once the cost estimate has been approved, we will carry out the electrical repair professionally on a time-and-materials basis. The customs and freight costs for the return shipment are to be paid in full by the client.

Cleaning before dispatch

Lights that have been in use for many years are usually very dirty. To avoid contaminating or damaging the optical system and the electronics when opening them, each light must therefore be thoroughly cleaned before opening.

Please clean the luminaire thoroughly before packing and dispatch. If this is not possible, we will charge a flat-rate cleaning fee based on the degree of soiling.

The cleaning fee must be paid before the quotation is issued.
