Electronics manufacturing partner
for hardware start-ups
in Berlin, Germany and Europe
From the initial idea through to the prototype and on to series production – the reliable partner for your start-up
As an experienced electronics manufacturer, we understand the specific challenges faced by hardware start-ups in Germany and Europe:
We also manufacture prototypes fully automatically and under series production conditions to avoid iterative and certification cycles.
Why hardware start-ups trust us
SMD & THT manufacturing
The right technology for every project: we manufacture miniaturised SMD and robust THT assemblies and combine these technologies where required
100% AOI inspection
Every assembled unit undergoes our automatic optical inspection (AOI) before it leaves our premises. This is how we guarantee consistently high quality – even for the smallest batch sizes
Prototyping from 1 unit
Rapid initial prototypes for development and testing
No minimum order quantities to put a strain on your budget.
Whether it’s a one-off for the first prototype or a production run – we can bring any project to life
We work with you to optimise your design before production begins
Monitoring the end-of-life status of your components – avoiding single-sourcing
Comprehensive testing, documentation and compliance
Short supply chains, German engineering expertise
Protection for your intellectual property

Non-binding and fast
24/7 upload of your order data – automatic analysis of bills of materials and layer stacks
Send your Gerber files, BOMs and pick-and-place lists at any time via our portal
Our systems analyse and organise your files as soon as they are received
You will receive initial indications of any potential layout and bill of materials issues as soon as you upload your file
All project documents are stored in an audit-proof manner and can be retrieved at any time
This gives our staff more time to provide personalised advice and find solutions for critical situations, such as component end-of-life announcements: we understand your specific requirements and the technical challenges they present, and work with you as partners to resolve them.
AI handles the routine data – we take care of your project.
Together with our partners, we actively advocate personalized service and are committed to our employees. — So that AI will continue to support our employees tomorrow, rather than replace them.
Whenever you see this symbol, it means a company is committed to the expertise and performance of its team — and offers you personalized, tailor-made service.

1. Conseption & Design Review
Technical consultancy and DFM analysis – Together, we ensure that your idea can be manufactured. We help you prepare the prototype in the best possible way for the proof of concept.

2. Prototyping
From as little as one unit – SMD and THT assembly at production scale – for consistent quality, a minimum number of iterations and a smooth approval process.

3. Pre-series production
We produce all pre-series and prototype versions for approval and agile development processes. – Together, we incorporate the insights gained from the previous prototype version into the iteration.

4. Series approval
The pre-production run is inspected against defined approval criteria and test reports. Only once you have given your approval will the order proceed to series production.

5. Series production
Scalable production for up-and-coming start-ups:
Manufacture of your assemblies — fully automated, traceable and ISO 9001-compliant.
Every batch is documented, every assembly is tested.
Flexibility, continuous quality control and long-term obsolescence monitoring ensure your ability to deliver.
As a tech start-up, how do I find the best manufacturing partner?
1. Check core technical expertise
Not every manufacturer is equally proficient in all technologies. Ask specifically about their experience in your area of application:
Automation
products
💡Expert advice:
If the manufacturer is unable to go into technical details or simply says, ‘We’ll sort it out’ – it’s better to approach another manufacturer.
2. Certifications & Quality Standards
Certifications are indicators of trust, but they are no substitute for personal inspection. Find out in detail which certifications are required for your target market and what requirements are placed on your suppliers.
An ISO 9001 certification is absolutely essential to demonstrate that you meet the requirements for documentation, processes and traceability.
Depending on the market you supply to, further certifications may be required – either for you or your suppliers.
💡 Expert advice:
Ask to be shown when the last audit took place and what issues were raised.
3. Intellectual Property Protection & Data Protection in Europe
Intellectual property is vital for start-ups. When selecting suppliers, bear the following in mind:
Legal certainty under the GDPR and European commercial law
Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
To be signed before the start of each project
Access controls, surveillance in production areas
Data encryption
Protection of your design data (Gerber, BOM, pick-and-place)
No transfer to third countries
Explicitly stipulated in the contract
💡 Expert advice: The advantages of locating in Europe
If you manufacture in Germany or the EU, you have a legal right to enforce copyright and patent rights without the uncertainty of international law, and you avoid customs costs and formalities.
Furthermore, you are less vulnerable to the growing uncertainties of global supply chains.
4. Order quantities & scalability
Many start-ups make incorrect assumptions here – it is important to plan for both extremes:
| Launch phase | Manufacture from 1–10 units without a minimum quantity surcharge |
| Growth | Scale seamlessly from 50 to 500 to 5,000 units |
| Bottlenecks | Buffer capacity or alternative suppliers/parts for critical components |
💡 Expert advice:
Anyone who demands ‘minimum order quantities’ in the early stages is unlikely to be able to grow flexibly later on.
5. Digital processes & data availability
Modern manufacturing partners are characterised by efficient data flows:
| Criterion | Why it matters |
| 24/7 upload capability | Projects do not run according to office hours – data should be able to be transmitted at any time |
| Automated preliminary check | Immediate feedback on file formats, missing information or potential problems |
| Centralised storage | All project documents in one place, versioned and easily retrievable |
💡 Expert advice:
Automated data processing is no substitute for human expertise. Good partners use AI for routine tasks (file checking, formatting, inventory reconciliation) and ensure their staff are available to provide personalised advice.
6. Support right through to series production
A good partner supports you throughout the entire product development process:
- Design review prior to ordering – DFM analysis free of charge or for a small fee
- Component sourcing – assistance with sourcing hard-to-find components
- Test development – support with test set-ups and test specifications
- Traceability – unique serial numbers and batch numbers for printed circuit boards, components and assemblies
💡 Expert advice: Make a point of asking whether your future electronics manufacturer offers you this service and provides you with comprehensive support.
