in Accordance with the Dodd-Frank Act & the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation

EU Conflict Minerals Regulation and Dodd-Frank Act

SRM Mikroelektronik GmbH is committed to ethical business practices, supply chain transparency, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation and Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

These regulations require companies to disclose whether certain minerals— such as tantalum, tin, tungsten, and gold (collectively known as conflict minerals or 3TG) – used in their products originate from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or adjoining countries, where their trade could finance armed conflict.

Our commitment

We are convinced that responsible supply chains make an important contribution to human rights, peace and stability in conflict-affected regions. As part of our commitment, we:

N
Conduct regular due diligence to assess the origin of 3TG minerals in our supply chain, at least annually or when significant supplier changes occur.
N
Request origin information directly from our suppliers using industry-standard tools such as the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT).
N
Collaborate closely with our supply partners to trace mineral sources and ensure responsible sourcing practices that do not contribute to the financing of armed groups.
N
Align our efforts with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas.
N
Report regularly and transparently on our findings, in accordance with legal requirements and stakeholder expectations.

We expect all of our suppliers to adopt similar standards, provide full disclosure about the origin of their materials, and strive for conflict-free sourcing.

At SRM Mikroelektronik GmbH, we believe responsible sourcing is not only a legal obligation—it’s a key part of our corporate responsibility and values.
